Fiddle Leaf Figs are such great plants, especially with their big, broad leaves full of gorgeous veins and vibrant color. That being said, they can be a little picky. They definitely prefer stable environments (no big temperature changes here) and are quite sensitive to most tap water.

Native to West Africa, they're happiest at about 65 F and don't mind a bit of humidity. Since their leaves are so big, they're excellent at catching floating dust to keep them glossy, giving their leaves a quick wipe.

Tropical rainforests are the natural habitat of the Monstera (Split Leaf Philodendron). By developing holes in their leaves, the large Monstera leaves are better suited to withstand heavy rainfall and wind as they let the elements pass through the holes. The Fiddle Leaf Fig is one of the most posted plants on Instagram, and has come into fashion in a big way.
