Lively Root plant subscriptions offer one plant delivered every quarter (3-months).
Every 3-months, subscribers receive one new plant with care instructions (4" or 6" sizes are available).
The plants included in our subscription program are a mix of those available on livelyroot.com and specialty plants just for subscribers. We will provide variety and not repeat the same plant within a 2-year period.
After the first purchase, subscribers are charged on the same day every 3-months and receive their subscription within 3-7 business days after being charged.
*Subscriptions are a 3 plant delivery commitment. ***After your first 3 plant deliveries, you can skip a month or cancel your subscription at any time in your account. Subscription boxes can only be delivered within the contiguous 48 states. Promotions and discounts do not apply to subscription purchases.
***Gift subscriptions cannot be cancelled though shipping address can be changed.
Will I know what plant I’m getting ahead of time?
Heck no! Your plant will be a super, duper fun surprise each month. We wouldn't ruin that for you!
Can I swap out the designated plant for something else?
We are sorry, no, we are not equipped to swap plants in your subscription - but we promise each delivery to be special and unique. Plus, part of plant subscription fun is the surprise!
Can I skip, pause or cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can change your subscription terms at any time. We encourage you to set up an account to make this easy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel any time before orders process on your specified charge date of every quarter after 3 shipments. We will send you a subscription reminder email periodically so you don't get surprised.
When will I be charged?
For your first subscription plant box, you will be charged on the day of purchase. Recurring payments will occur on the same day every quarter (3-months).
If you get a gift subscription, you will be charged once for 4 plant deliveries.
Is my subscription covered by your 100% Happiness Guarantee?
Yes. All stand-alone plants and subscriptions are covered under our 100% Happiness Guarantee. If there are any issues with your subscription, don’t hesitate to reach out to us so we can help!

Can I get my subscription plant in a decorative pot?
We do not offer decorative pots with our subscription plants at this time. You can however, order the perfect sized pot separately. If you ordered a small plant, and pot on our size with the size "small" will fit. If you order a medium-size plant subscription, any vessel on our site labeled "medium" will fit.
