Easy & fun for beginners
Plant this vine in full sun (6-8 hours) where there is ample humidity.
Water as the soil becomes dry. Growth is less vigorous and blooms will be sparse if it does not get watered about once every 10 days or more.
It can tolerate extremes in humidity from low to high.
These plants are great at keeping the air in your space clean!
The Trachelospermum jasminoides or Star Jasmine gets these wonderfully scented, white, star-like flowers growing on an evergreen vine. In early to late spring, the flowers bloom with residual blooms throughout the summer. Observe its fast-growth up to 6 feet in a single season! Use on a porch rail, trellis, arbor, or as a privacy screen. It makes a lush ground cover too.
*May ship with or without flowers or buds - normally blooms in May & June
Himalayas, Eastern and southeastern Asia including China, Japanm Korea, and Vietnam
Folklore records that the star jasmine was like a compass and lead traders in the right direction if they were of good character.
