This Plant Subscription offers one plant delivered every quarter (3-months).
Every 3-months, subscribers receive one new plant with care instructions.
The plants included in our subscription program are a mix of those available on livelyroot.com and specialty plants just for subscribers. We will provide variety and not repeat the same plant within a 2-year period.
After the first purchase, subscribers are charged on the same day every 3-months and receive their subscription within 3-7 business days after being charged.
Any first time purchases will get their plant according to our normal shipping times.
Heck no! Your plant will be a super, duper fun surprise each delivery. We wouldn't ruin that for you!
You can pause or skip an upcoming shipment at any time. Subscriptions can only be canceled after two successful shipments. We encourage you to set up an account to make changing your subscription terms easy!
Making changes to your subscription is easy! Log into your Account Page and navigate to your subscription tab, you can then choose to cancel, skip, pause or gift your subscription. Note: Subscriptions can only be canceled after two successful shipments.

Our plants are sourced from local growers to ensure the highest quality and to support family-owned businesses. We guarantee plants arrive in happy, healthy condition, or we replace them for free.

We also make our subscriptions accessible to change, pause, and cancel at any time. Just log into your account page to make any changes, including gifting one of your shipments to a friend!
We do not offer decorative pots with our subscription plants at this time. You can however, easily add things like pots and fertilizers to your subscription on your account page. If you ordered a small plant, any pot with the size "small" will fit. If you order a medium-size plant subscription, any vessel on our site labeled "medium" will fit.
Yes! You can always swap out your quarterly subscription for another quarterly subscription. Note that while we don’t often repeat items between our subscriptions, it may happen within our promised 2 year time frame if you swap subscriptions.

As my Poppop is getting older, he has become more confined to the house, and as a lover of plants, I thought getting him a subscription and something for him to care for in the home would be a good idea. It was the best gift I could’ve gotten him, he gets so excited every time a plant is delivered and sends me pictures with updates on how his plants are doing. It’s really brought him a lot of joy.
I got this subscription last year for my GF and she loves it! So we decided to keep it going because the surprise ever few months is great. All plants except the Pineapple, do great! The only thing is last year I would receive cute little info cards from lively root. We collected them. The last 2 orders there is no info cards. Bring back the info cards!
